Report: Welterweight champion Kell Brook stabbed in leg

IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook has been stabbed in the leg while on holiday, according to a report.

Sky Sports News claims that the 28-year-old was on holiday in Tenerife when the attack took place, but his condition is not thought to be life-threatening.

The incident comes just one month after former light-middleweight European champion Jamie Moore was shot while spending time in Marbella.

Brook was due to defend his welterweight title later this year.
