Manny Pacquiao willing to fight Amir Khan in England

Manny Pacquiao claims that he would be willing to take on Amir Khan in England.

Manny Pacquiao has revealed that he would be willing to take on Amir Khan in England if he is approached about facing the British boxer.

Both fighters are keen to meet the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr, but Pacquaio admits that he may have to widen his options in the latter stages of his career.

"A fight with Amir would be an exciting fight," the 35-year-old told The Telegraph. "I can fight him anywhere, even in England.

"I don't know how much longer I will fight. I'd like to retire in the next few years, so for now I am willing to face anybody.

"Modesty aside, I'm happy and content with the legacy I have in boxing, even if I don't fight Floyd. I always want to make the fans happy though and I know they want that fight. I also know that if we did fight, it would be good for the sport."

Pacquiao defends his WBO welterweight title against unbeaten American Chris Algieri on Saturday.
