Manny Pacquiao says Floyd Mayweather Jnr fight announced at 'end of the month'

Pacquiao confident of Mayweather fight

Manny Pacquiao has said that he expects a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jnr to be announced at the end of this month.

Pacquiao has repeatedly called on Mayweather to agree to a fight since he beat Chris Algieri in November after years of speculation that the pair might one day get into the ring.

Pacquiao told reporters: "We will make an announcement before the end of the month. I think it will happen."

Reports suggest that the fight will take place on May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and could be worth almost £200m.

Mayweather has an unbeaten record, currently standing at 47-0.
