Klitschko pulls out of Mormeck fight

Wladimir Klitschko has withdrawn from this weekend's heavyweight bout against Jean-Marc Mormeck following surgery to remove a kidney stone.

The WBA, IBF and WBO champion will not be able to defend his title in Dusseldorf as he recovers from the operation that took place at the weekend.

"Wladimir is sad, devastated, but he again feels extreme pain," Klitschko's manager Bernd Boente said.

The Ukranian boxer will have to reschedule the fight with his French opponent.
