Khan: 'Brook won't take Porter fight'

British welterweight Amir Khan has insisted that rival Kell Brook will decide to pull out of his scheduled encounter with IBF champion Shawn Porter.

The IBF have ruled that Porter must defend his title against the Brit by July 19, but Khan doesn't believe that Brook has "the bottle" to face the American, who stopped Paulie Malignaggi inside four rounds last month.

The 27-year-old told BBC Sport: "Brook against Porter is not going to happen because Kell doesn't think that he can win it.

"I don't think Kell has got the bottle to take a big fight like that, he's always been all talk when it comes to the big fights. Some fighters are like that."

Earlier this month, Khan returned to the ring for the first time in a year with a comprehensive win over Luis Collazo in Las Vegas.
