David Haye 'happy' to assist boxing authorities

David Haye has released a statement admitting that he would "happily assist the boxing authorities" following his altercation with Dereck Chisora in Munich on Saturday evening.

Police in Munich confirmed that they were looking for Haye, following their decision to detain Chisora at the Bavarian capital's airport.

Haye, who was thought to be missing, has released a statement regarding the current situation.

"If requested I would happily assist the boxing authorities with any investigation they wish to launch," Haye's statement read.

Chisora was released without charge on Sunday evening.
