Audley Harrison delays retirement

Harrison to continue boxing

Audley Harrison has revealed that he will continue boxing despite his first-round defeat to David Price earlier this month.

The Olympic gold medallist hinted that he may bring an end to his career following the loss but it now appears that he will fight at least one more time.

"It's official... I've decided to carry on. One more shot at glory," the 40-year-old posted on Twitter. "It could be over; next fight will tell me. See u in a ring real soon.

"A decision has come from above. He told me son 'lace up your gloves' your time as a boxer is not quite done, so go out there & have some fun."

Harrison has won 28 times and lost on six occasions during his professional career.
