Danny Garcia criticises Amir Khan's previous opponents

Danny Garcia has claimed that Amir Khan's professional record is not as impressive as it seems because he only faces opponents that he should easily beat.

Khan faces the WBC light-welterweight champion on July 14 but Garcia insists that the British fighter has never faced anyone like him in the ring.

The American told The Boxing Lab: "I know that I'm going to hurt him in this fight. He never fought anyone like me.

"All of his other fights were set-up fights to make him look good. This fight right here, he is going to have his hands full."

Garcia is unbeaten in his 23 fights while Khan has won 26 of his 28 bouts with only one loss being recorded.
