Kell Brook, Devon Alexander fight confirmed for May 18

Kell Brook will finally get his shot at Devon Alexander for the IBF welterweight title on Saturday, May 18 in Atlantic City.

A bicep injury to Alexander saw the bout postponed for a second time in February, leaving Brook in limbo over his maiden shot at a world championship.

The unbeaten Sheffield fighter now has a date confirmed, with the fight due to take place at the historic Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.

Alexander versus Brook will serve as a co-main event to a junior welterweight title fight between IBF champ Lamont Peterson and Argentine knockout artist Lucas Matthyse.
