Russia's Sofya Ochigava has crushed New Zealand's Alexis Pritchard to seal a spot in the last four of the lightweight tournament.

Ochigava asserted her superiority over the Kiwi from the opening bell to take a 4-1 lead.

She continued her assault with a string of venomous combinations to double her advantage by the midway interval.

Pritchard was completely overwhelmed by the Russian, who was exploding into attacks and controlling the fight.

Ochigava forced a standing count in the third round after finding the target with a rapid two-punch burst.

The Russian wrapped up a comprehensive 22-4 victory in the final round.
