Scott Fitzgerald to take it "fight by fight"

Scott Fitzgerald has vowed to take each fight as it comes as the Team England boxer attempts to win a medal at this summer's Commonwealth Games.

The welterweight advanced from his first match against Ron Bastien on Friday to book a clash with Ghana's Azumuah Mohammed in the next round of the competition.

"I will take it fight-by-fight and treat every fight as a world title fight and see how far I go," Fitzgerald told reporters.

Fitzgerald's next bout will take place on July 28.
