Preview: Anthony Joshua vs. Erislandy Savon

Sports Mole previews Wednesday's super-heavyweight bout between Anthony Joshua and Erislandy Savon at the Olympics.

Team GB's Anthony Joshua will begin his pursuit of an Olympic medal against Erislandy Savon on Wednesday.

The super-heavyweight, who won silver at the 2011 World Championships, will be tested to the limit by Cuba's Savon for a place in the last eight.

Savon is the nephew of three-time Olympic gold medalist Felix Savon and heads into the games with a big reputation.

Joshua's superior record at the highest level of amateur boxing makes him favourite for the bout but the Watford born fighter will be wary of the power of Savon.

Sports Mole's prediction: Joshua to progress to the quarter-finals.
