Report: Washington Wizards' Bradley Beal wants maximum contract

A report suggests that Washington Wizards point guard Bradley Beal is ready to demand a maximum contract from the club.

Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal reportedly wants a maximum contract from the club.

The 22-year-old was selected by the Wizards with the third overall pick in the 2012 Draft, and has become an integral part of the team.

Due to the high level of his play, Beal is ready to demand a maximum long-term contract from the Wizards, but they are unwilling to meet his request, reports CSN Washington.

Randy Wittman's men are prepared to let him play out the final year of his rookie deal in the 2015-16 season and allow Beal to test the restricted free agency period.

Beal has averaged 15.6 points per game in his three seasons in the club.
