Russell Westbrook scores 41 points as the Western Conference earn All-Star win

Western Conference edge All-Star match

The Western Conference have won the 2015 NBA All-Star game with a narrow 163-158 win over the Eastern Conference.

Oklahoma City's Russell Westbrook starred for the West, as he scored 41 points on his way to an MVP performance.

LeBron James was in fine form for the East, scoring 15 points in the first quarter, but that wasn't enough to prevent his side from trailing by 12 after the opening period.

James added seven more in the second quarter as he helped his team close the gap to just one point in the second highest scoring half in All-Star history.

The sides were level as they entered the final quarter, but Westbrook stole the show as his eight points took his side to victory.
