Phoenix Suns' Eric Bledsoe eyes playoff spot next season

Phoenix Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe sets his sights on reaching the post-season with his side for the first time since the 2009-10 campaign.

Phoenix Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe has targeted a playoff place for his side next season.

The Suns struggled immensely in the 2014-15 season as they posted a 39-43 record, leaving them in 10th place in the Western Conference.

However, Bledsoe has backed Jeff Hornacek's men to reach the post-season and has set his sights on earning a top seed in the conference.

"We're definitely trying to make a run at a playoff spot," Bledsoe told ABC 15 Arizona. "We're not trying to get the last spot, either. We're trying to get a high spot."

The Suns last reached the post-season in the 2009-10 campaign.
