Report: Greg Smith fails New Orleans Pelicans physical

Greg Smith's move to the New Orleans Pelicans has been cancelled, according to reports.

The power forward was on the verge of signing for the Pelicans on Friday, but the Times Picayune claims that he failed his physical.

The Pelicans are currently missing their top two centres Omer Asik and Alexis Ajinca due to injury and are believed to be looking to reinforce their front court this week.

Smith played 42 games as a backup for the Dallas Mavericks last season.
