Anthony Davis: New Orleans Pelicans are an "elite team"

Anthony Davis has described the New Orleans Pelicans as an "elite team" following their win over the Golden State Warriors in the NBA.

The team's 103-100 victory over the Western Conference leaders moves New Orleans above the Oklahoma City Thunder into the final playoff place in the West.

The forward, who scored 29 points in the win, told ESPN: "We look at ourselves as an elite team. We feel like we can play with anybody and we can beat anybody on any given night. We just got to go out there and play that way."

The Pelicans are in action again tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies.
