Justise Winslow targets "greatness" with Miami Heat

Justise Winslow admits that he is desperate to become a Miami Heat great as he prepares for his first season in the NBA.

Justise Winslow has revealed that he hopes to become a Miami Heat great after being drafted by the three-time NBA champions last week.

Despite being tipped as a potential fourth or fifth selection, Winslow dropped down to 10th in Thursday's Draft and the Heat jumped at the opportunity to pick the 19-year-old, who won the NCAA Tournament in his only year with Duke.

Injuries and the loss of LeBron James played a major role in keeping Miami out of the playoffs last season, but Winslow is confident that he can handle the pressure of helping his new team become contenders once again.

"For me it's about being myself and playing my game. That's what got me here," he told reporters.

"I'm here with Miami and they're going to expect nothing but greatness from me. That's what I hope to produce.

"I've had pressure on me my whole life, I'm used to it. I have high expectations for myself but they're all realistic."

The Heat have confirmed that Winslow will play in the NBA Summer League in preparation for his debut season.
