Randolph suspended for playoff decider

The NBA has suspended Zach Randolph for the Memphis Grizzlies' final game of their first-round playoff against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The forward punched the Thunder's center, Steven Adams, in the jaw during the sixth game of the series, which has left the teams tied at 3-3.

The incident happened in the fourth quarter of Oklahoma City's 104-84 win, when Randolph elbowed Adams before striking him.

Randolph has been the team's leading points scorer during the playoffs, averaging 18.2 points per game during this series.
