Pau Gasol suffers strained tendon

Los Angeles Lakers star Pau Gasol has sustained a strain of the flexor tendon of the big toe in his left foot.

Gasol will be a game-time decision to face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday, after suffering the injury against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday.

The Spanish veteran is averaging 15.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists and shooting a career-low 44.8% from the floor this season.

He joins Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash on the treatment table as coach Mike D'Antoni had just eight healthy players available for Monday's practice session.
