Bryant won't play in 2016 Olympics

Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant has insisted that he will not return to international basketball for the 2016 Olympics.

The 35-year-old has previously noted that London was his last involvement with Team USA, but was asked again by reporters on Monday.

Lakers reporter, Dave McMenamin, tweeted that Bryant confirmed he won't play in the 2016 Olympics, but he might attend as a spectator to "see Pau [Gasol] win another silver medal".

Bryant has missed significant playing time over the past two seasons after suffering an Achilles injury and then a fractured bone in his knee.
