The Denver Nuggets sign Jamaal Franklin from NBA Development League

The Denver Nuggets sign ex-Memphis Grizzles player Jamaal Franklin on a multi-year contract.

The Denver Nuggets have signed guard Jamaal Franklin on a multi-year contract.

The 23-year-old previously played for the Memphis Grizzlies after they selected him in the 41st round of the NBA Draft in 2013, but they cut him after just 21 games.

However, he has shown good form since he joined the Los Angeles D-Fenders in the NBA Development League, and has been rewarded with a professional contract.

Franklin averaged 19.2 points per game for the D-Fenders.
