Report: Andrew Bynum "nowhere near ready"

Andrew Bynum has been told that he could miss the entire pre-season while recovering from knee surgery, according to a report.

The center joined the Cleveland Cavaliers in July, having missed last season while recovering from the operations.

Fox Sports claims that the 25-year-old is "nowhere near ready" for the pre-season and is a doubt for the regular season opener against the Brooklyn Nets.

Bynum has a career average of 11.7 points per game.
