LeBron James ready to face Boston Celtics

Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James insists that he is relishing the prospect of playing in Boston against the Celtics.

LeBron James has revealed that he is prepared for his first game back against the Boston Celtics since returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

James played his last game with Cleveland in his first stint with the organisation in Boston in a game-six loss in the Eastern Conference semi-finals in 2010.

"Their fans know the game of basketball, they appreciate the game of basketball, and I love a little adversity. They're one of the best at creating adversity, so it should be fun," James told reporters.

"Oh yeah, you hear them. They have their own slang and twang. I know, obviously, being a part of that."

The Cavs are 3-3 for the season and they will face the Celtics with James averaging 30.1 points in 36 career games against them.

The two-time NBA champion put up 27 points, 19 rebounds and 10 assists in his last appearance at the TD Garden with the Cavs, but that game will be remembered for James taking off his jersey as he walked off the court before leaving for the Miami Heat later that summer.
