James knee injury not serious

Cleveland Cavaliers coach David Blatt has insisted that LeBron James's knee injury is not serious after he missed Thursday night's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Blatt said before the game that James was held out as a precaution and he listed him as day-to-day. It is still unclear as to whether or not he will play against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday.

"Nothing major. Again, not a serious problem. We'll monitor it, we'll treat him and we'll see how he's feeling tomorrow," Blatt told reporters.

Cleveland made adjustments to their starting lineup in the absence of James, with Kyrie Irving moving across to shooting guard while Shawn Marion played at small forward.

However, they could not prevent the Thunder from snapping their eight-game winning streak as James continues to average the second-most minutes per game in the league.
