Derrick Rose helps recruit Carmelo Anthony

Derrick Rose changes his initial stance to help the Chicago Bulls in their attempt to recruit free agent Carmelo Anthony.

Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose participated in the recruitment of New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony during his visit to the city on Tuesday.

Despite previously insisting that he was reluctant to recruit free agents to play with him in Chicago, Rose joined the likes of Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson in helping the organisation persuade Anthony to join them.

Anthony arrived at the United Center with Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau and was greeted by pictures of himself in a Bulls uniform at the front of the stadium with the Larry O'Brien Trophy.

The meeting ended with the 30-year-old being given a tour of the Bulls' new practice facility near the United Center by team personnel, but the Knicks forward will now visit several other teams ahead of making his decision.
