Report: Deron Williams hasn't requested trade

Deron Williams has reportedly not requested to be traded by the Brooklyn Nets during the upcoming off-season.

The point guard was linked with a move away from the team earlier this week after they were knocked out of the playoffs by the Miami Heat.

The Brooklyn Game says that the team was surprised by the reports suggesting that the 29-year-old was keen to leave the team as he has made no formal request for a trade.

Williams, who averaged 14.5 points per game during the playoffs, still has three seasons remaining on his current deal with the Nets.
