Denmark's Kjaersfeldt wins badminton gold at European Games

Denmark's Line Kjaersfeldt has won the women's badminton gold medal at the European Games after a 2-1 win over Belgium's Lianne Tan.

Tan took a five-point lead in game one and eventually won 21-18.

Kjaersfeldt forced a deciding game, though, when she came back from four points down to win the second game 21-19.

The Dane then dominated the final round 21-9 to clinch victory and claim her country's second gold medal in Baku.

Spain's Clara Azurmendi and Bulgaria's Petya Nedelcheva won the bronze medals.
