Tennessee Titans release running back Shonn Greene

The Tennessee Titans have confirmed that they have released running back Shonn Greene.

The 29-year-old did not report for the team's off-season activities as he entered the final year of his deal with the AFC South side.

As a result, Ken Whisenhunt's men have taken the decision to cut Greene from their roster following two disappointing seasons with the Titans.

Greene rushed for 687 yards and six touchdowns in his two seasons at LP Field.
