Half-Time Report: Tennessee Titans lead Pittsburgh Steelers

Tennessee lead Pittsburgh

The Tennessee Titans are leading the Pittsburgh Steelers 7-2 in their NFL clash at Heinz Field.

Pittsburgh got on the scoresheet straight away when Shaun Suisham kicked off to Darius Reynaud, who collected the ball outside his endzone and then took a knee in the scoring area, which resulted in a two-point safety.

Both teams struggled on offense as the two defenses made good plays. The Titans defensive back Alterraun Verner intercepted a pass from Ben Roethlisberger, while Zach Brown also came up with a sack. On the other side, LaMarr Woodley dropped Jack Locker for a huge loss to stunt their drive.

However, just before the break the Titans finally got something going on offense as Locker drove them down the field and running back Jackie Battle went over from three yards out, and Rob Bironas kicked the extra point to give them a 7-2 lead.
