Russell Wilson: 'We'll miss Percy Harvin in San Francisco 49ers clash'

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has admitted that his side will miss wide receiver Percy Harvin in their NFC championship clash with the San Francisco 49ers.

Harvin has been ruled out of the game with a concussion after taking a blow to the head in his side's divisional round win over the New Orleans Saints, just the second game he had featured in all season.

Wilson told reporters: "Honestly we miss Percy Harvin a lot. We missed him all year and he's a tremendous football player, he knows how to play the game, he's so physical, so fast, and he brings an excitement to the game, but we played without him all year for the most part.

"Obviously we're disappointed that he's not playing, we wish he was, but his health comes first. We have a lot of great players, obviously Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse, and Golden Tate will be making a lot of plays, and the same with everyone else."

The Seahawks ranked 17th in scoring offense without Harvin in the 2013 regular season.
