Richard Sherman blasts Pierre Garcon

Seattle Seahawks star Richard Sherman has hit out at Washington Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon after Monday night's 27-17 win.

The pair appeared to exchange words throughout the game while at one point it looked as though Garcon pulled Sherman's hair while trying to get open.

"Pierre doesn't matter in this league. I mean exactly what I said," Sherman told CSN Washington.

Garcon was held to two receptions for 23 yards as Sherman conceded that he understands his rival had to do whatever he could in order to get open for his quarterback.

Meanwhile, DeSean Jackson fared better than his teammate with five catches for 157 yards and a touchdown but he was unable to prevent the Redskins from losing.
