Bennett: 'Seahawks miss Kam Chancellor'

Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett has admitted that safety Kam Chancellor's absence has been felt by the team.

The 27-year-old will sit out the season unless the NFC West team improve his current contract, and the two sides are no closer to a compromise.

Bennett told reporters: "We miss Kam Chancellor, not just the way that he plays, but the way that he approaches the game, his leadership.

"If we win on Sunday, people won't be talking about it, but at the end of the day, we all want Kam to come back.

"We all understand what his fight is. And we all want him to get his just due. And he is one of the best safeties to play the game, so I think we miss him. We just miss his love, he's our brother."

The Seahawks head to Wisconsin to face the Green Bay Packers in the late evening game on Sunday.
