Baldwin: 'Goal is to make Lynch MVP'

Seattle Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin has defended his numbers and revealed that the goal of the team is to ensure that running back Marshawn Lynch shines.

Baldwin took issue with NFL Media's Deion Sanders after he played down the ability of the Seahawks receivers, and they discussed the topic on Super Bowl media day.

"Like I said, I ain't gonna sit up here and tell you that I'm the best receiver that's ever played the game, but I'm working towards it," Baldwin said, according to NFL.com.

"At the same time, I know what I'm capable of doing. So we going to see what happens on Sunday and we going to bring it just like we been bringing it the entire season. We gonna go out there and try to do our goal, which is to make Marshawn Lynch the MVP of the Super Bowl and if we do that, obviously we're going to win."

Baldwin added that while catches and statistics are important, the focus for the Seahawks is on winning games and winning championships with their running game and stifling defense.
