The San Diego Chargers announce that running back Ryan Mathews is probable for their clash with the Indianapolis Colts despite sustaining a concussion last week.

The San Diego Chargers have confirmed that running back Ryan Mathews is probable for their clash with the Indianapolis Colts on Monday.

Mathews sustained a concussion during his side's defeat to the Oakland Raiders last Sunday, but has passed a series to tests and is likely to feature against the Colts.

Head coach Mike McCoy told reporters: "I'm looking forward to seeing him out there."

The 26-year-old has rushed for 234 yards on 67 carries in the NFL this season.
