Pouncey brands Wallace a "coward"

Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Maurkice Pouncey has branded former teammate Mike Wallace a "coward" for his exploits at the end of the 2014 season.

The 28-year-old refused to play in the second half of the final game of the season for the Miami Dolphins in their defeat to the New York Jets, which resulted in the wideout being traded to the Minnesota Vikings.

"First of all, in my opinion, he's a coward," Pouncey told CBS. "I never want a guy on my team like that, man. To walk out on your band of brothers."

Pouncey played with Wallace during his days with the Steelers, while his brother Mike Pouncey was on the Dolphins team with the wideout last year.
