Bell "not surprised" by Baker success

Le'Veon Bell has said that he is not surprised to see his former college teammate Edwin Baker's success with the Cleveland Browns.

The running back began the season on the Houston Texans' practice squad, but signed for the AFC North side two weeks ago, rushing for 102 yards and scoring two touchdowns in his first two appearances for the team.

The Pittsburgh Steelers running back told reporters: "I'm not surprised, at all. I've seen Edwin every day in practice at Michigan State, and he's a very, very good runner.

"He's explosive, and I think, as a runner, that only makes a defense nervous when you have someone with that much explosive ability, that hits the edge real fast and can break long runs. That's what he can bring to the offense. He definitely brings a different dynamic to the game, and we've got to try to contain him.

"By practicing with him, going through practice at Michigan State, we did a lot of things together. He taught me a lot of things, especially when I was younger and trying to get involved in the offense more, he'd always show me the ropes and the little things I had to get right."

The Steelers face the Browns in their final regular season game of the year later today.
