Philadelphia Eagles ease past Green Bay Packers

The Philadelphia Eagles ease to a comfortable 27-13 victory over the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field in the NFL.

Nick Foles threw three more touchdown passes to help the Philadelphia Eagles to a 27-13 victory over the Green Bay Packers in the NFL.

The Eagles broke the deadlock in the first quarter when Nick Foles threw a long pass down the middle for DeSean Jackson to collect at the second time of asking before crossing the white line for a 55-yard touchdown.

A quiet second quarter saw both sides score a field goal apiece late on, with Alex Henery kicking from 25 yards and Mason Crosby converting his effort from 26 with just five seconds left on the clock.

The Eagles began the second half in style with Foles launching another long pass downfield that Riley Cooper did well to stoop down and catch before rolling untouched into the end zone.

The Packers' offense finally clicked late in the third quarter when Scott Tolzien, in for Seneca Wallace who had started the game due to Aaron Rodgers's injury, found Brandon Bostick on the left to set up a 22-yard touchdown.

Any hopes of a comeback were quelled soon after, however, as Foles found Cooper wide open, allowing the receiver to stroll into the end zone and complete a 32-yard score.

Crosby kicked a field goal early in the fourth quarter, but that proved to be the end of the scoring as the Eagles saw out a comfortable victory.
