Oakland Raiders to deal with Jason Tarver issue "in-house"

Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis confirms that he will deal with defensive coordinator Jason Tarver's sideline actions against the Pittsburgh Steelers internally.

Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis has revealed that he will deal with defensive coordinator Jason Tarver's sideline actions against the Pittsburgh Steelers "in-house".

Tarver was pictured flipping a middle finger towards the match officials on a number of occasions after they penalised cornerback Mike Jenkins for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell.

The 39-year-old has since apologised for his actions, but Davis confirmed that the matter would still be dealt with internally.

"It was just an emotional outburst by a coach in the heat of the game. We don't condone those actions and we'll handle it in-house," Davis told ESPN.

The Raiders went on to win the match 21-18 but remain bottom of the AFC West with a 3-4 record.
