Carlos Rogers placed on season-ending injured reserve by Oakland Raiders

Rogers placed on season-ending IR

The Oakland Raiders have confirmed that they have placed cornerback Carlos Rogers on their injured-reserve list.

The 33-year-old had been struggling for the past few weeks with a persistent knee injury that had kept him out of his side's last four matches.

Oakland took the decision to end the cornerback's season to create room on their roster to add a younger player to play in their four games of the campaign.

Rogers had recorded 35 tackles and one forced fumble in seven matches for the Raiders.
