Manziel grateful for Brady advice

Former Texas A&M Aggies quarterback Johnny Manziel has revealed that he has sought the advice of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady ahead of the 2014 NFL Draft.

The 21-year-old, who is considered one of the top prospects at the quarterback position in the Draft, admits that he is grateful to receive the advice of the three-time Super Bowl winner to help him prepare for life in the NFL.

Manziel told reporters: "It was cool for him to reach back out to me after I extended a text message to him. It was extremely cool. Kind of a really funny conversation at first, [then] worked our way into a little more serious conversation.

"It was really nice. I'm very thankful for him to be able to extend a hand out to me in the situation that I'm in."

Manziel won the Heisman Trophy in 2012.
