Santonio Holmes out of clash with Atlanta Falcons

Wide receiver Santonio Holmes is out of the New York Jets' clash with the Atlanta Falcons on Monday with a hamstring injury.

The New York Jets have confirmed that wide receiver Santonio Holmes is out of their NFL clash with the Atlanta Falcons.

Holmes has missed all of his side's practices this week after sustaining a hamstring injury in their loss to the Tennessee Titans and has been deemed unfit to feature against the Falcons.

However, Rex Ryan could have wide receiver Stephen Hill back in time for Monday's game as he has recovered from a concussion he sustained against the Titans, after he practised on Saturday.

The Jets are 2-2 in their season going into week five.
