Corey Webster agrees New York Giants pay cut

Corey Webster restructures his contract to take a pay cut for the final year of his New York Giants contract.

Corey Webster has agreed to take a salary cut to stay with the New York Giants for the 2013 season.

Webster was due to start the final year of a six-year deal worth £29.25m, but has restructured it to receive less for the last season.

His final year's pay has been cut from £4.8m to £2.6m, according to sources quoted by NFL.com.

Webster has played for the Giants his entire career and has made 322 tackles in eight seasons.
