New Orleans Saints re-sign Robert Meachem on one-year deal

The New Orleans Saints have confirmed that they have re-signed wide receiver Robert Meachem.

The 29-year-old was allowed to hit the free-agent market by the club after rejoining them from the San Diego Chargers at the start of the 2013 campaign.

However, after a month on the open market the Saints decided to bring the veteran back to the club on a one-year deal for the 2014 season.

Meachem recorded 16 receptions for 324 yards along with two touchdowns in the 2013 season.
