Tom Brady plays down touchdown milestone

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has played down the milestone of his 400th touchdown pass in his side's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The 38-year-old became just the fourth player in NFL history to reach the landmark when he found Danny Amendola in the back of the endzone.

However, Brady is adamant that the 51-17 victory was more important for him and his side to continue their impressive start to the campaign.

He told reporters: "It was a good day. It was fun to be out there I think everyone enjoyed it. It was a good performance by our offense and a good team win after a good week of practice.

"A lot of guys made plays, so I was happy, it was a great day out there for football."

When told Amendola threw his touchdown ball into the crowd, he added: "I don't care, it's just a ball."

The Patriots moved to 3-0 in their season as a result of their win.
