New England Patriots trio questionable for AFC championship game

The New England Patriots have listed punter Ryan Allen and wide receivers Kenbrell Thompkins and Aaron Dobson as questionable for their AFC championship clash with the Denver Broncos.

Allen sprained the AC joint in his shoulder in his side's divisional-round win over the Indianapolis Colts last week as he fielded a bad snap to prevent a touchdown, but has been able to practise this week.

Thompkins sustained a concussion in the same game, while Dobson has been out with a foot injury for the past two weeks after picking up the ailment in his side's win over the Buffalo Bills in week 17 of the regular season, although they have also practised this week.

However, linebacker Steve Beauharnais has been ruled out of the game entirely, due to an illness.
