Tom Brady: 'We made plays when we needed'

Tom Brady has said that the New England Patriots made plays when they had to in order to secure a closely-fought 30-23 win over the New York Jets in the NFL.

The Jets led 20-16 in the fourth quarter before the Super Bowl champions fought back, improving their record to 6-0 in 2015.

The quarterback told reporters: "I thought we played better as the game went on. We made the plays when we needed to make them. I think that was the important thing."

The Patriots are in action again on Thursday when they host the Miami Dolphins.
