New England Patriots' Danny Amendola: Return felt "pretty good"

New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola reveals his delight with his return from injury despite his side's defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals.

New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola has said that it felt "good" to be back playing for his side following a month on the sidelines.

The 27-year-old returned to action during his team's defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals following a groin injury, which had kept him out since the first game of the season.

Amendola told reporters: "I felt pretty good. There's a lot of work to be done and we've just got to get better.

"It was just something that, it was day-to-day all week and it just felt good enough to play.

"Practice is practice during the week, then you get into the game, adrenaline's flowing, it's a lot faster. I had to make sure I was ready, but I felt pretty good."

The Patriots are 4-1 in their season following their defeat to the Bengals.
