Leslie Frazier has said that he expects Adrian Peterson to be ready to play against the Cincinnati Bengals this weekend.
The running back missed last week's 48-30 win against the Philadelphia Eagles with a foot injury and sat out Thursday's practice to receive treatment.
The head coach told the St Paul Pioneer Press: "Based on what we saw [on Wednesday], we should be fine. Unless something comes up that I don't foresee, he should be ready to go.
"Based on today and if everything goes good tomorrow, [backup running back Toby Gerhart] should be good to go on Sunday."
Peterson added: "It's feeling pretty good. Starting to gain more strength in it, can put pressure on it, it's feeling good."
Peterson has 1,221 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns this season.
