Miami Dolphins DC Kevin Coyle disappointed with start to season

Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Kevin Coyle admits that he is disappointed with his and his side's start to the 2015 season after their defeat to the Buffalo Bills.

Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Kevin Coyle has conceded that he is disappointed with his side's start to the campaign.

The Dolphins are 1-2 in their season after losing 41-14 to the Buffalo Bills at SunLife Stadium in week three, which has put head coach Joe Philbin under immense pressure.

The AFC East side invested heavily in free agency by making Ndamukong Suh one of the highest-paid defensive players in the history of the NFL, but the 28-year-old has struggled immensely along with his teammates at the start of the season.

When asked if he could have seen their poor start coming, Coyle told reporters: "No. I couldn't imagine that. But that's the reality of what it is and that's my job. I take responsibility for that.

"It's on my shoulders. It's my job to make sure we are playing winning defense and I've got to get that done. I'm disappointed, but I'm mostly disappointed in myself."

The Dolphins face the New York Jets in their first match of the 2015 International Series at Wembley in week four of the campaign.
